Mariarosa Baroni has over 35 years of experience in the development of alternative fuels transport, contributing in early 90s’ as an entrepreneur to the release of OEM first original gas-powered cars, while developing an installation and maintenance network of hundreds specialized LPG & CNG workshops.

Thanks to her hands-on experience in both strategic and operational business development, she has been asked to contribute with local partners to the growing of various gas mobility markets in different areas of the world, in the light and heavy-duty OEM area.

Since 2013 she is President of NGV Italy, the leading Italian gas-mobility association representing the full value chain, including also new technologies like hydrogen. NGV Italy represents more than 70% of the g-mobility market in Europe.

Recently she has also been the promoter and is currently the President of the World Gas Mobility Council (WGMC), the global g-mobility association to promote supportive policy making and facilitate technical regulations and streamlining.

Based on her unique and extensive experience, Mrs. Baroni is the leading voice of g-mobility, providing also deep-dive expertise for business development and training opportunities in the different segments of the value chain.  She is President and CEO of NGV International Academy, a company whose mission is to facilitate the commercialization of clean fuels and technologies, doing lobbying, analysis, , feasibility studies  training.
