Vinay has a rich experience of more than 25 years in the Industry and is currently the Managing Director of SLB India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Mumbai and after graduating in 1996, he started his career with SLB in Egypt as a field engineer in Drilling & Measurements. In his last 26 years in SLB, he has worked in diverse geographies including Latin America, North America, Indonesia, Sudan, Sakhalin, and Malaysia in different capacities ranging from field operations, Marketing, Operations Management, Country Manager and HQ roles. SLB has been operating in India since 1933 and currently under Vinay’s leadership in India is engaged with all E&P operators in areas of exploration, development, and production. Also, Vinay is spearheading SLB’s initiatives towards reducing the emissions from E&P operations which is in line with SLB’s global initiative of making the company net-zero by 2050.
