Shantanu Jaiswal is head of India research at BloombergNEF and is based in New Delhi. He leads a team responsible for producing policy, economic, business and investment analysis in the power and transport industries. From primary data collection to producing long-term scenario analysis, he is also involved in bespoke consultancy projects in India and neighboring countries.

Shantanu has worked in several energy sectors including wind, solar, coal, biofuels, energy storage and retail electricity. With nearly 15 years of experience in renewable energy and power markets, he regularly speaks at conferences and is often quoted in the media. Shantanu is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA in Power Management.
