Career Highlights:

Mr. Tokhi is working as Director (Exploration) with ONGC Videsh Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC Ltd. since 4^th October, 2021. Prior to this assignment he has more than three decades of valued experience across the spectrum of upstream Oil & Gas business in India.

2021 - Till Date                                   

As Director (Exploration) and incharge of Business Development, steered the ONGC Videsh team in exploration activities of various fields & assets globally and strategized the acquisition opportunities keeping focus in equity Oil & Gas for India’s energy security.

2020 - 2021                                         

As Executive Director at MBA Basin of ONGC, led the appraisal  activities of Asokenagar discovery in Onland Bengal Basin and Exploration Rejuvenation Programme of Mahanadi and Andaman Basin.

2018 - 2020                                         

Management of Exploration Portfolio & formulation of Exploration Strategy for Mumbai Offshore in West Coast & Krishna Godavari in East Coast.  

2010 - 2018                                         

Responsible for accelerated development of Ratna & R-series fields, Daman and Dahanu fields, risk mitigation studies for implementing revised Field Development Plan of Cluster-II of KG-DWN-98/2.

2005 - 2010                                         

Established a number of G&G Centres capable of carrying out special studies viz. Reservoir Characterization, Static & Dynamic Modelling for proving field deliverability to take economic decision for a project.

1988 - 2005                                         

Worked in various facets of G&G activities ranging from Data Acquisition & Processing to Interpretation in onland as well as offshore projects of  ONGC. Acquired expertise in Basin Modelling, prospect identification & evaluation.
