Career Highlights:

Mr. O N Gyani joined as Director (Operations), in March 2022, on the Board of ONGC Videsh, 100% subsidiary of ONGC. Responsible for management of about 15 producing assets spread in 10 countries contributing about 10 MMtoe oil and gas.

2021-2022:           

As Asset Manager of the largest onshore Asset of ONGC, reversed the declining production trend of matured fields having light to heavy oil. 

2018-2021:           

Headed Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS) engaged in field performance review and formulation of Improved /Enhanced Oil Recovery schemes for matured fields in 15 producing assets of ONGC.

1987-2018:           

Petroleum Engineer with overall 35 years’ varied experience in exploration to development, onshore and offshore areas as well as managing Producing Asset to R&D institute in Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC).

Wide field exposure in planning and monitoring of critical activities of E&P viz. drilling, completion, revival of sick well through work over, production optimization etc.

Long experience in evaluation of discoveries, formulation of Field Development Plan (FDP) and its implementation in offshore/ onshore fields, assessment of field growth.
