Presently heading the wind energy division of the ministry and involved in various aspects of wind energy sector development (both onshore wind and offshore wind) including planning, policy, regulation, implementation, monitoring etc. Having work experience of 18 years in various Government organizations.

Did my masters in Physics from Utkal University and Doctorate in the area of Solar Photovoltaic from GGSIP University, New Delhi.

I was instrumental in development of photovoltaic module test laboratory of National Institute of solar energy (NISE), erstwhile Solar Energy Centre and its NABL accreditation.

Worked in BARC, Mumbai on a collaboration Project with DRDO to develop an underwater propulsion system.
