LNG EcoSystem Pavilion

The LNG EcoSystem Pavilion presents a mesmerizing journey of downstream LNG supply chain in India ranging from bringing LNG in large cryogenic ships to unloading the same at jetties equipped with all the sophisticated infrastructure, storing into onshore full containment cryogenic tanks, regasification and dispatching into the National Gas Grid. It also showcases the technological advancements towards faster implementation of the supply chain, including floating storage, FSRU, Ship to Ship transfers (STS) and other value-added services. LNG is presented as a futuristic eco-friendly alternate fuel in transportation and other sectors being adopted through development of small-scale LNG supply chain. Start-ups in the small-scale LNG sectors also exhibit products and expertise through LNG dispensing stations, LNG storage tanks, LNG driven vehicles and more.

Hosted by Engineers India Limited under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural gas, the Make In India pavilion showcases the capabilities and capacities available on Indian soil with respect to design, engineering, manufacturing and testing of the entire hydrocarbon value chain. Out of around 1500 Indian manufacturers enlisted in the EIL database, 24 manufacturers representing static equipment, rotating machineries, electrical and instrumentation items, piping items, line pipe and more participate in this pavilion. EIL takes pride to claim that in today’s era, almost 95% of equipment in refinery sector are sourced from the Indian industries. Similarly, in the petrochemical sector, indigenous components stand at more than 65%.
